Hong Kong and Malaya.

I am receiving many more unofficial requests, particularly from Hong Kong, that we should make a statement relating to our intention to stay on in these territories.

I think we must fairly soon, in order to satisfy opinion, make firm statements to this effect and probably the best way would be by an arranged Question in the House of Commons.
